Thanks to you for your good description above on OEE as a powerful metric. I absolutely agree with you that OEE hasn't been monopolized by operation, QA and maintenance departments only but also can be applied to HR, because 8 big losses exposed by OEE are also effected by training and employees skill development. This is really true.

I'd like to add something here that besides of OEE, the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance &#38; Management) program also equipped with a metric to measure people productivity and efficiency human resources including commercial departments. The metric is called as OLE (Overall Labor Efficiency)that aims to expose 5 big losses of human resources. It is a really powerful metric as well as OEE.

I think everybody can get this kind of information through the website of JIPM, the principal and founder institution of TPM. Thanks.
