		<description>I review all predictive reports and I keep a running log of the maintenance notifications I write from the predictive technologies. I frequently review and update previous notifications with the date repaired and what, if anything was found, the correction, and the cost. This also help me keep tab on the machines that are constant problems.

I'm currently seeing many Reliability Engineering groups either downsized or outsourced in this economy.  Same goes for the Condition Monitoring groups and the main reason is that we fail to publicize the wins (even the small ones add up).  

Another method to show value is to have a code in the CMMS that reflects corrective actions identified from the PM/PdM program.  It's one way to determine if the PM or PdM program is adding value, not just across the organization but for individual equipment.
