Bio:
Beau Groover has been in operations management for nearly 20 years, with experience in supply chain management, manufacturing management and continuous improvement (CI). Over the course of his career, he has held several management positions in the field of operations, with a focus on CI for the past 10 years. Beau’s formal education in CI started at Nordson Corporation. When the organization began its lean journey in 2000, Beau was one of the first lean facilitators to be trained. He went on to implement and lead the company’s lean transformation over the course of nine years, serving in various roles, including lean manager and plant manager. In 2009, Beau joined the RockTenn Company as a master black belt. In this role, he is helping the organization drive improvements using the Lean Six Sigma methodology. RockTenn is a leading North American producer of paperboard, containerboard, consumer and corrugated packaging, and merchandising displays.
