Bio: David Thompson was formerly president of Kennedy Manufacturing Company in Van Wert, Ohio. During his time with Kennedy, David was directly involved in implementing lean manufacturing processes. Kennedy offers a variety of products to assist its end-user customers in their implementation of 5-S and other organizational practices. David was involved in the development of these products and their implementation with selected customers. He has been an active member and board member of the Industrial Distribution Association, the American Supply & Machinery Manufacturer’s Association, the Industrial Supply Manufacturer's Association and the Industrial Supply Association. He served as the president of ISMA.
